Triple Gradient or Triple Layered means its outer layer has 10 microns, the middle layer has 5 microns and the inner layer (core) has 1 micron. This prevents filters blocking prematurely and provides a higher contaminant holding capacity. Instead of dirt building up on the outside, like regular sediment filters, dirt is trapped throughout the whole filter.

• Fluoride Removal Filter – Replace every year

Made in USA by Omnipure. Activated Alumina Media that removes up to 97% of fluoride in the water.

  • High-surface-area nanofibers enable fine filtration down to submicron levels.

  • Submicron membrane layers effectively trap viruses, bacteria, and microscopic debris.

  • Premium-grade activated carbon further reduces PFAS compounds (including PFOA and PFOS), heavy metals, chlorine, and volatile organic chemicals.

  The filter is also bacteriostatic, helping inhibit bacterial growth within the media. By combining mechanical filtration, adsorption, and electroadsorption in one system, the AquaCo® Disruptor® cartridge provides comprehensive water purification for both residential and commercial applications.

How often should I replace my filter cartridges?

• To ensure optimal performance and hygiene and to prevent build up of contaminants, we recommend that filters are not used any longer than 12 months. However, replacement frequency depends on water quality and usage.
• Filters should also be changed when rated capacity is reached, or when flow becomes too slow.

The system features a Chrome Faucet with a LED Indicator Light that will turn from blue to red when filters need changing. Certified to NSF/ANSI 61 Section 9-G. This faucet is Tested and Certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI 42, 58 for materials and structural requirements.

What are the benefits of the 3 Way Mixer?

Instead of drilling a hole through your bench for a separate drinking faucet, you can replace your kitchen tap for a 3 Way Mixer. They fit into the same hole as your previous tap and provide filtered, hot and cold, all in one faucet. See 3 Way Mixers.

Does filtered water and unfiltered water mix?

In 3 Way Mixers, filtered water has an independent nozzle in the spout. Therefore, filtered and unfiltered water never mix.

Will this system reduce my TDS levels?

Unfortunately, unlike reverse osmosis systems, this system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), or Calcium Hardness. If you are interested in a system that reduces TDS or removes hardness from your drinking water consider our AquaCo Reverse Osmosis System, or for the whole house, consider our AquaCo Water Softener.
