Water softeners are used for removing calcium carbonate, manganese, iron and hardness from water sources and are regenerated by brine solutions. The treated water is soft and non-scaling / staining.

Hard Water contains dissolved minerals in the form of Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), and Iron (Fe). Hard water tends to form scale deposits in pipes, hot water systems and on plumbing fixtures. Water softener systems remove harsh minerals from your water and ‘softens’ the water.
