• Stage 1 – Inline Sediment Pre-filter

For removal of dirt, sand, rust, dust, silt and algae. Needs replacing every year.

• Stage 2 – Inline Activated Carbon (GAC) filter

For reduction of chlorine, and other chemicals. Protects the membrane from chlorine. Needs replacing every year.

• Stage 3 – Dupont Filmtec Ultrafine TFC Reverse Osmosis Membrane (300 litres per day 1)

Repels heavy metals. Removes fluorides, hardness and salts. Needs replacing every 3 years.

• Stage 4 – Inline Activated Carbon (GAC) polishing filter for reduction of chlorine, and other chemicals.

Carbon polishing filter for greater taste. Needs replacing every year.

• Stage 5 – Inline Alkalising/Mineralising Filter.

Raises the pH levels of the water and adds minerals such as Calcium, Potassium and Magnesium. Needs replacing every 2 years.

Benchtop Reverse Osmosis Installation Set Up

• This filter works with a flow rate of 16 L/h. Therefore, requires an storage water bottle to collect water coming form the system. (F)

DIY Installation

• Connects to your kitchen faucet with an adaptor supplied. You need an storage tank/bottle to collect the water coming from the system (E. blue tube).

A. Diverter connects the kitchen faucet to the white tube.

B. 1/4” white tube connects the diverter to the filter system.

C. 1/4” blue tube feeds pure water to the storage container.

D. 1/4” black tube feeds waste water to the drain.

• Kitchen Faucets Compatible with the Reverse Osmosis Adaptor/Diverter.

Note: Not all faucets suit the diverter/adaptor supplied. In this case, you can connect the system to your garden tap with an special adaptor required (Tap Adaptor 1/4″ Tube to 1/2″BSP)

If you are renting, and the Benchtop Reverse Osmosis is not compatible with your kitchen faucet, you can think in getting a reverse osmosis system for under your kitchen sink with a 3 Way Mixer. All you have to do is remove your existing kitchen faucet, put it aside, and exchange it for the 3 Way Mixer. When the lease finishes, you can take the 3 Way Mixer with you and put back the pre-existing one. Undersink reverse osmosis systems are much more convenient and easy to maintain than benchtop reverse osmosis systems.

Will reverse osmosis remove lead?

Yes, reverse osmosis systems apart from removing chemicals and other disinfectants like regular water filters, they reject other common contaminants found in tap water such as fluoride, chloramines, heavy metals (copper, iron, arsenic, lead…), nitrates, endotoxins, antibiotics, PFAS and BPAs.

Will reverse osmosis remove PFAS?

Yes, reverse osmosis is the only effective filtration method laboratory tested, certified, and proven to remove harmful PFAS found in drinking water.

What’s the difference between Reverse Osmosis and other Benchtop Water Filters (Single, Twin, Triple)?

Unfortunately, other systems than reverse osmosis do not remove salts, scale or calcium hardness. Reverse osmosis and water distillers are the only systems that can lower the TDS levers in the water. The levels of TDS in the water are used as a guide to measure the overall water quality. A TDS level between 50-150 is considered as the most suitable and acceptable for human consumption. Higher TDS levels are considered unsafe and unfit for human consumption.
