• To ensure optimal performance and hygiene and to prevent build up of contaminants, we recommend that filters are not used any longer than 12 months. However, replacement frequency depends on water quality and usage.
• Filters should also be changed when rated capacity is reached, or when flow becomes too slow.

Usually the system is installed standing under the kitchen sink. This ensures a cost efficient fast installation. Where height is an issue, the system can be installed laying down as well. See installation diagram. 

Will these filters reduce my TDS levels?

Unfortunately, unlike reverse osmosis systems, this system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), or Calcium Hardness. If you are interested in a system that reduces TDS or removes hardness from your drinking water consider our AquaCo Reverse Osmosis System, or for the whole house, consider our AquaCo Water Softener.

Why is my water cloudy after changing the filters?

Whenever a fine water filter cartridge is changed, it is normal for the water produced by the new filter to look cloudy, almost like a glass of skim milk. The cloudy appearance is due to very tiny air bubbles in the water. It is completely safe to drink.
