• Stage 2 – The Aragon Filter represents the most up to- date technology for Water Treatment as it is capable of reducing high percentages of heavy metals (on top of chlorine, taste, odour, pesticides, herbicides and VOCs) as well as Virus, Bacteria and Parasites removal.

It also inhibits scale growth (but it does NOT Soften the water) especially significant in an area with high TDS (Total Dissolved Solids).

Aragon is a composite polymeric material presented as a single block, with a bacteriostatic silver addition, that makes it possible to get completely safe and healthy drinking water.

Long polymer chains are formed in the production process, providing a porous yet mechanically strong structure. These polymer chains are coated and enable a highly effective ion exchange process.

• To ensure optimal performance and hygiene and to prevent build up of contaminants, we recommend that filters are not used any longer than 12 months. However, replacement frequency depends on water quality and usage.
• Filters should also be changed when rated capacity is reached, or when flow becomes too slow.

Will this set up reduce my TDS levels?

Unfortunately, unlike reverse osmosis systems, these filters will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), or Calcium Hardness. If you are interested in a system that reduces TDS or removes hardness from your drinking water consider our AquaCo Compact  Reverse Osmosis System, or for the whole house, consider our AquaCo Water Softener.

Can I change the filters myself?

Yes, we use simple twist-off housings and drop-and-go filter design for quick replacement.

An opening tool (spanner) is supplied for tightening and screwing the filter housings.
