These are 10″ x 2.5″ Filters

Operation

Flush new cartridge with 5 gallons of water prior to use and check for leaks. If leaks occur, check tightness of tubing and fittings. If leaks persist, discontinue use and call your supporting dealer.

Maintenance Requirements

Note flow direction of filter.

Replace cartridge when rated capacity (2,500 gallons) is reached, or when flow becomes too slow.
Install in compliance with state and local laws and regulations.

Pre-Filter Requirements

The Omnipure L5520 is usually installed with a sediment pre-filter L5505. As high sediments in water can block prematurely the L5520.
The Omnipure L5520 has 1 micron pore size; therefore, removes more contaminants compared to the L5540, which has 5 micron pore size.
Also, because the L5540 uses granular activated carbon and has 5 micron pore size, sometimes can be installed by itself, without a sediment pre-filter
