• Sediment Filter: 100% Polypropylene Triple Gradient Sediment Filter. Captures sand, dirt, rust, algae, silt, mud and particles greater than 5 micron. The sediment filter will avoid premature blockages within the system and will extend the life span of the second stage filter. Tested and Certified by NSF International under NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements only.
• Anti-Scale Filter: Coconut Shell Activated Carbon with Citric Acid. Keeps appliances free of limescale, less electricity is required to operate them and they will have a longer life span.

Time to change your filters? The 20″ Sediment and Anti-Scale Replacement Filters suit Two Stage Whole House Filtration Systems. This set of replacement filters includes one sediment filter and one carbon block. Both are tested by NSF/ANSI standards. Both filters have a capacity of around 100,000 gallons of water, enough to supply a family of four with clean water for an entire year.

• To ensure optimal performance and hygiene and to prevent build up of contaminants, we recommend that filters are not used any longer than 18 months. However, replacement frequency depends on water quality and usage.
• Filters should also be changed when rated capacity is reached, or when flow becomes too slow.
• The cartridges are individually wrapped to ensure freshness. Please unwrap the cartridges before use. For bore water with very high iron please contact us for customized solutions. Unlike an RO membrane, these filters don’t reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). If you are interested in a filter that removes TDS, consider the Compact Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.
